Our Ghost Jacob is at it again. The other night I was making dinner. Placing the beaters for the hand mixer on the counter, I turned my attention towards the pot of potatoes.
As I drained the Potatoes, the beaters fell to the floor. Now at first I was thinking that I had just put them on the counter in a way that allowed them to fall. So I continued to drain the Potatoes, and then let them sit in the strainer for a few minutes. (best way to get fluffy mash.) 
I bent over to pick up the beaters, but as I did, I felt something on the small of the back.
woosh!
My pants were taken down, and the cheeky Monkey giggled and ran off.
Its my fault entirely because I allow him to just be a kid. Yes he is a ghost, but I let him enjoy the after life as much as possible.

I told a friend about this, and she suggested that I put some ground rules that I am not to be touched or my wife. And that he is not to be scaring us. But again, I feel that he should be allowed to do what he would like. He never hurts us with his pranks, and sometimes they are down right funny.

Happy Thanksgiving all. And for those that do not celebrate, I wish you the warmth of family, the love of life.

midnight visitor

The wind blew leaves across the lawn and deck, giving an eerie shuffling noise outside my window. Shadows danced in the light of the streetlights casting against the walls. 
As I sat watching videos from Swagbucks.com, I had a feeling that someone was standing behind me. I turned and course there was no one, but the feeling was still there.
The shadows moved again across the walls, and the familiar giggle of a child rang out.

"Jacob..." I said in a slight whisper. "What are you up to?"

The headphones I had on jumped off my head and I felt my ears being flicked. 

Jacob giggled.

I love Jacob, but the only thing about him that he does is flick my ear and that drives me crazy LOL.

There is one thing that I am glad, He may be a Ghost, but he is very happy.

Jacobs room

I was in the storage room to get a book when I saw out of the corner of my eye our ghost child.  Jacob was sitting on the floor playing with a toy that my wife got when she was a child. It is a wood toy tractor. 
I was very strange to see it move on its own. However I am used to it so maybe it isn't as strange really.

Anyway, things have been busy with my writing. So far I have added another 3 chapters to my ever (never) ending Novel.  This makes now over 22 chapters.

Remember what Edward Sloan said at the end of the Theater production of "Dracula" "There are such things."

Some may say that uou can find similarities in many historical figures. However, not once has there been any documented more than the Kennedy / Lincoln.

Shadows and Ghosts

Hi all ... 

This morning my wife and I were just waking up and we heard what sounded like papers being shuffled in the livingroom. I got up out of bed, and took a look out into the living room and I saw a couple papers fall off of my desk. A shadow darted across the room, and I heard a giggle. Apparently Jacob our ghost was playing around.

However, I felt very uneasy for some reason when I looked out into the dining room and saw yet another dark shadow, and glowing red spots like eyes. I knew this was not Jacob at all and I went into the room and said it was not welcome in my home. 

The shadow moved toward the front door and vanished.

Our house is over 100 years old and there are still lingering energies of people that have lived here. Some have been good like Jacob, but there are some that are definately never welcome.  

I am so addicted to twitter. However, there are nights I stay up all night trying to catch up with all of the tweets I get .... Have you had this problem too?

 I just uploaded a video to youtube this afternoon. The video was made a couple days ago, but never got around to editing it and adding some music.

So anyway.... Here it is.

It is the Pretzel Burger at Wendy's.  OMGangnam style it was so good. Going back soon to have another.

Jacob the ghost antics

Well Jacob is at it again....

This morning I was making breakfast, and I suddenly felt a slap on my bum. Then as I turned, I heard him giggling as he trotted away. 
Oh that mischievous little ghost...
